We only collect the information we need to answer your enquiry, carry out the work and run the business. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:
Information you give us
- Contact details, such as your name, phone number and email address.
- Vehicle details, such as the make, model, year and registration number, and photos of your key or vehicle that you send us.
- Location details, such as the address or postcode where your vehicle is parked.
- Proof of ownership, such as a V5C logbook or finance agreement, and photo ID. We view these to confirm that the vehicle belongs to you before making keys or opening a vehicle.
- Messages, including anything you write in the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp.
- Payment and invoice records, such as the amount paid, the date and the work carried out. We do not store full card details.
Information collected when you use this website
- Technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which is recorded by our hosting provider for security and performance.
- Cookies, as explained in the cookies section below.
3How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes, and only rely on a lawful basis that applies under UK GDPR.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision making or profiling. We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
4Contact Form and Messages
When you send a message through the contact form on this website, the details you enter are sent to us by email and may also be stored securely in the website database, so that we can reply and keep a record of your enquiry. Please only include the information needed for your enquiry.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled through WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta. If you phone or email us, we keep a record of the conversation details needed to deal with your request.
6How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it.
- Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted within 12 months.
- Job records and invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires, which is usually six years.
- Warranty information is kept for at least the length of the 1-year warranty on the work.
When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or destroyed.
8Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights over your personal information:
- Access, to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Rectification, to ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure, to ask us to delete your information where we no longer have a reason to keep it.
- Restriction, to ask us to limit how we use your information.
- Objection, to object to us using your information based on legitimate interests.
- Portability, to ask for information you gave us in a format that can be moved elsewhere.

Not happy with how we have handled your information? Please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, through the ICO complaints page.
9Keeping Your Information Secure
We take sensible steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to our devices and accounts is password protected, and paper documents are kept secure and shredded when no longer needed.
Some of our service providers, such as email and messaging platforms, may store information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on providers that use appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
