How AJ Auto Access Started
Alex has always been interested in how vehicle keys and security systems work. That interest grew as he watched experienced auto locksmiths at work online, and it turned into a trade when he trained on professional auto locksmith courses covering key cutting, transponder programming and non-destructive vehicle entry.
He set up AJ Auto Access in Long Eaton with a simple idea. Drivers who lose their keys should not have to tow their car to a dealer and wait days for a key to be ordered. A mobile locksmith with the right equipment can cut and program a new key at the vehicle, usually in a single visit.
Today Alex works across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, from his base just off Junction 25 of the M1. He covers cars and vans, from older transponder keys to modern keyless systems, and he still answers every call himself.

- DBS checked. Alex holds a basic check from the Disclosure and Barring Service, so you know exactly who is working on your vehicle.

- Professionally trained. Trained on auto locksmith courses in key cutting, key programming and non-destructive entry.
- Old keys removed. On lost or stolen key jobs, missing keys are wiped from the car so they can no longer start it.
